Friendly Visit? (Johnathan/Open)

Syx laid on his stomach on the bare concert flooring. He was sketching a rough outline of things he could possibly try for escape plans. He was alone for the first time in his cell. Usually Minion was rolling around the cell right beside Syx, plotting with him, or giving an encouraging word on how brilliant he really was. It made Syx uncomfortable without his companion there with him. It was his first time being truly alone, and even though he was 15 years old right now, he still felt a bit scared. He wished Minion were here. Yeah, he was being childish, he knew it, but it didn't change anything. What could he say? he had separation problems with his fish, even though he wouldn't ever tell anyone this, not even Minion, especially not Minion.

Minion was not here with him because he couldn't be. They'd arranged the whole things, even though Minion had put up a whole fuss and had asked him several times to make sure Syx was positive that he didn't need him in jail with him. Minion put up a good fight, but eventually, Syx's stubbornness forced Minion to give in. If Minion could hear Syx's thoughts right now, he'd never allow Syx to do anything on his own again. But they had other things to work on. Syx knew there was a great chance of him getting caught, and so had already planned ahead that if he did get caught Minion wouldn't be there with him.

Him and Syx had just created a small robotic suit for him. No, it wasn't the best. It was only about as tall as his waist, but it was working, last time he'd left Minion anyway. They'd been scavenging the junk yards and picking up a few things from stores here or there, but it had been enough for Syx to work with and to build a suit for Minion to be able to pick up things without Syx's help. Minion was limited to the weight he could pick up with this suit, but was still thrilled to receive it. Syx had ran through every test he could think of with the suit to make sure nothing could harm Minion. He would not allow his friend into anything dangerous. Once Syx felt completely sure about it, he allowed Minion to try it out.

The suit had been designed to filter his tank and supply fresh clean water supply. And if the generated stopped randomly, it wouldn't matter too much. Minion could filter his tank himself he needed to. The legs were a tad bit unstable because of the material they were built from, but they would hold for at least a few weeks. The antenna on the back of Minion's head was what allowed Minion to connect to his suit using his mind to stir it. Though Syx did have to admit, the suit made Minion look super funny and out of place since he was a fish after all, but it would be great for both of them in the long run. Whenever Syx got better parts and had time, he'd have to build a better suit for Minion. The one he had was okay, but it was still short, had too many limits on it, and would only hold for so long.

Syx's mind wondered to the materials needed to go into an advanced version of the suit he'd created. His pen circled the air as his thoughts drifted more and more way from his escape plottage on the paper. It needed to be scrapped anyway, or at least stored for future plans since he could do nothing with it right now.

Footsteps broke Syx's train of thought and made him scramble to throw his notepad and pen under the flat mattress chained to the wall. He hoped up on top of his mattress laying back folding his hands behind his head crossing his skinny leg atop his knee. He wore a smug smile on his face bouncing his foot to a steady beat waiting to see which guard it was this time. He'd expected the guard to move on by his cell after giving him a brief glance just to make sure he was still there, but instead the guard stopped in front of his cell peering over at him with a bit of annoyance. Syx smiled brightly back at him. "You have a visitor." the gurad explained to him. Syx's eyebrows creased in confusion. Who would be visiting him? Minion knew better than to come visit him and besides, he would've been locked up if he'd tried. Syx had never gotten a visitor before. He sat up swinging his legs over the edge curiously.

"Who?" Syx pressed. However, a young cop then came into view. He looked maybe about 20 or so. Syx's eyebrows creased farther trying to recall any memory whatso ever of this man. Nope, he diffinately didn't know him. Why the heck was he here?

There was no way! Johnathan couldn't believe he was doing this. This was rediculious. He was going to look like a complete fool. This had to be another joke from all of his lovely policemen crew. He was going to walk in the prison asking for a person who didn't exsist. Or prehaps he did exsist but, it was going to be some cacasion man who would just give him the look of death for even considering visiting him. Honestly, John didn't even know why he was even considering this. It wasn't true and he knew it.

Yet, despite every thought telling him that no blue aliens lived here, here he was, standing in front of the Metro City Prison. It was a very grim looking place in the middle of no where pretty much. He supposed that's how prison was suppose to be. Seperated from everything and very dull. John couldn't imagine what kind of criminals were in there. Surely they were all just the petty ones that broke a window of a store or stole some toys here or there. John knew there were probably very dangeroud criminals in there. He really didn't want to go in there. Yeah, he was whimp. He was afraid. But his curiousity continued to nag him and he couldn't help but to move towards the enterance.

John walked in requesting the warden's office. He then nervously asked to see Syx Blue. He was surprised when the guard had asked him why, meaning that Syx must've exsisted at least. John made up some excuse that sounded real enough to him, but his stuttering probably gave it away he was only here for the curiousity. John was about to leave feeling stupid for trying, but then the guard told him to follow.

John followed timidly behind the guard. The guard explained not to get too close to him and that he was very cleaver. John supposed he had to be if he kept escaping so often. Either that or the security here was just aweful, not that he was going to say this outloud. John eyed the prisoners behind bars as he passed them. He made a small noise in his throat when one of them made a motion as if cutting his head off to him. John stayed just slightly closer to the guard then.

After a lot of twist and turns, making their way to the very center of the prison it seemed, the guard finally slowed down stopping infront of a cell. "You have a visitor." the guard said. John heard some movement within the cell and a teen's voice request who. John wanted to now go the other way, but he'd already came this far. He'd look like a complete fool if he turn and left now. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, John stepped into view of the cell. His eyes widen and breath caught in his throat as he viewed the prisoner.

John had honestly thought they had been making it up. They were serious? This.....This.....That thing wasn't human! Well, nah duh! They'd said blue alien, John. He thought to himself. He felt his mouth gape slightly but couldn't stop himself. John had barely noticed that the prison guard had left them as soon as John had approached the cell. He now felt a wave of panic shoot up his spine. What if the alien did something to him?

John couldn't help but to just stare......He was.....BLUE! He was freaking blue! And blad......and super skinny.....and BLUE! John thought this had to be some kind of joke. He thought maybe it was a carboard cut out, except then he saw the alien blink and realized it was real. John involunteerly took a step back. There was a blue alien in that cell.....Did anyone else know that? There was an ALIEN here! In Metro City......

Syx watched as the policeman stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Syx. Syx was used to reactions like this. One who'd never seen his blue skin before tended to freak out the first time they saw it. While waiting for the cop to recover, Syx took in the man's appearance. Wide brown eyes, curly brown hair, young, timid look about him. Syx was storing this information in along with the man's face in his photographic memory. He wasn't sure who this was yet or what the man wanted with him, but just incase he needed this information later, it was nice to get a moment to observe. Syx liked observations and never missed a detail.

Next, Syx looked over the man's stance judging about how long the guy had been a cop. Syx was willing to bet, due to his timid/shy attitude, long recovery from shock of seeing Syx, and hesitation, that he was very new. Possibly even just hired. Syx could see the fear in his eyes quite clearly. It made him smirk. He was going to become a villain after all. He was glad he was able to scare people without even trying. Just his apperance alone seemed to bring fear and uncertainty to the man in front of him.

Syx waited as paciently as he could manage for the guy to snap out of his shock, but after a minute in silence, Syx became annoyed that his eyes were still bluging and mouth was still hanging uselessly. Syx decided the man had had long enough to process his apperance. It dind't take that long to understand that Syx was a blue, bald, alien. Syx leaned causally against the cell bars smriking out at the policeman.

"Now, I know I'm incredibly hansome and as flattered as I am by you gawking in awe of my beauty, you're wasting my time." Syx said in a very pleasnat tone. He hoped this would snap the man back into reality. If the cop was just here to stare at him, Syx was going to get really frustrated. He had too much to do than to be put on display like an animal in the zoo. They could go stare at the Wayne kid if they wanted to see an alien. Syx, on the other hand, had plans of getting out tonight. He had to go check on Minion and see if anything had been done in the lair since he'd been captured.

John took another sharp inhale of breath releasing it slowly as the alien started to speak. Oh God! It was speaking to him.......What should he do? Should he just stand there? Should he anwer it? Should he run? John looked around for that guard who'd just left him stranded here. He saw no one that could come to his aid. He had to go see the alien, didn't he? Well, he'd seen it, now what?

John was a major skeptic. Aliens, in his book, didn't exsist. Yet....Here he was face to face with a blue one. His mind processed the words slowly. John hadn't even realized the alien was mocking him until almost a ful minute after he'd spoke. That snapped John out of it. Wait...gawking at his beauty? John snapped his mouth shut getting himself undercontrol. If he were gawking at anything it was at his huge head and blue skin.......It was just freaky. But at his 'beauty'? John dind't find the alien at all beautiful. He wasn't sure if the alien had really meant that or if it were just a simple tease....

John's mind raced trying to figure out what to say. What were you suppose to say to an alien prisoner. "Y-You're.....Syx Blue?" John asked unintelligibly. "I-I mean, I mean, uh, I wasn't expecting......." John shut himself up before he made a bigger fool of himself. No doubt the alien would probably mock him of his stutter problem under pressure like this. He couldn't think straight to form sentences.

John thought he could try again, maybe with an open question. "Why are you in prison and not like on.....?" John trailed off not finishing the rest of the thought of wondering why he wasn't on his own alien planet. John could've smacked himself. Okay, that wasn't the type of question he'd wanted to start this off with. He was the first question that came out of his mouth. Yep, John was certainly brillant when it came to conversations.

"Y-You're.....Syx Blue?" The cop stuttered out. Syx's expression dropped from an impacient one to a uh-duh! expression. Wow, this guy was an idiot. Who did he think he was visiting? "I-I mean, I mean, uh, I wasn't expecting......." the cop stuttered out again, making Syx roll his eyes. Wasn't expecting me to be blue? Syx finished the thought for him in his head.

Syx was failing to see the reason the cop was here. So far, the cop was being a complete bozo trying to figure out if he were dreaming. Syx briefly had the thought of calling a guard over to take the police to the nurse or something in fear he'd pass out any second, but he banished the thought immediately knowing that probably a guard wouldn't come anyway. Besides, he wasn't friends with very many of the guards here and didn't want to draw more attention knowing that the cop passing out would no doubt be blamed on him. Granted.....most times when things happened like that it was his fault. But considering the fact he was plotting an escape in a few hours, he didn't need unnecassary attention drawn to him.

The cop's next question made Syx's posture go from the duh look to just pure you've-got-to-be-kidding-me. Syx gave the cop a stare implying how stupid the question was. "Why are you in prison and not like on.....?" Syx again rolled his eyes at the police before chuckling a bit.

"I'm a hostile alien here to take over your planet." Syx only half teased. It was true, he supposed he was a hostile alien....but he more wanted to take over just Metro City rather than the whole planet.....Though he supposed world domination might've been a plan in the far future to consider. He'd ask Minion's opinion over it. Maybe they could plot on that as well after they ruled Metro City. Prehas he could create an army to help enslave the planet. Wheels turned breifly in his gaint head, but he placed them on a hold since he wasn't exactly considering world domination seriously.

"So, I can guess why you're here now, right? Did you bring a gift?" Syx asked in a teasing tone again. As if a cop really came all the way to jail, to freak out and give him a gift. Syx knew he hadn't, but he figured this was the way to make the cop admit why he was here.

"I'm a hostile alien here to take over your planet." The alien in behind bars said. John couldn't tell if he were teasing or not. He laughed nervously hoping that was a joke. John took a breath to calm himself. The alien was behind bars. There wasn't anything it could do to John. He had nothing to worry about. Even though it had a huge head, it obviously wasn't smart enough to keep out of jail, so it shouldn't be considered a threat, right?

John felt more relaxed by the thought. Surely the guards wouldn't leave him alone with a hostile alien, so that had to be a joke, or the alien's frustration. John noticed he was still leaning away from the alien and so straighten his posture. Gee.....he was such a great police. He was freaking out over a criminal in jail. He'd have to arrest these people one day. He might as well stop freaking out......But......the alien was still blue.....John just couldn't get over that.

"So, I can guess why you're here now, right? Did you bring a gift?" Syx asked. John looked confused a moment. A present? Was it his birthday? Suddenly John felt a bit guilty. He'd come to gawk at the blue alien and hadn't brought it a present on it's birthday. Oppps....John didn't think he had anything on him either. That was, anything on him that the prisoner could have. He was still in his police uniform and still had his utility belt on for his protection.

John rubbed a hand on the back of his neck, visibly showing how ackward the alien was making him. "Ummm.....No.....Sorry." John said looking around anywhere but at the alien. "But happy birthday." He added hoping it would help. It probably wouldn't. Syx would probably loose interest in him. Which, John supposed would be fine. It would give him an excuse to leave. Maybe he should just leave now.

John put his hands in his pockets just to have somewhere to put them. That was when he felt his clicky pen in there. John's eyes brighten a bit. "Oh, wait. You can have this." John said holding out his clicky pen with black ink and stepped out to the cell so that Syx could take it from him. "It's not much, but it's all I have on me, sorry." John said even more ackward still. A pen? Man, that was a lame gift. Then again, John didn't even know this prisoner, didn't even know what he was in for, so a pen would be good enough.

"Umm....I got to get going soon." John said looking down the hall for any sign of a guard to lead him out of the place. He'd hate to be lost in the jail for a while. It was started to really creep him out. "I was just checking....We didn't have a picture of you in the logs and I was trying to get an accurate decription to add." ohn lied of his reasoning being there.

Happy Birthday? Syx's eyebrows creased. It wasn't his birthday. Where had he gotten that idea from? Wow, this cop was super dumb. Syx tried to think of when he'd said it was his brithday. He knew his birthday wasn't under next month. December 17th, that was. Though, it didn't matter. Syx never really celebrated his birthday. Minion would always wish him happy bithday and Syx would build a brillant invention for himself, but that was as far as celebrating went.

Syx was about to point out dully that it wasn't his birthday, when John suddenly started pulling a pen from his pocket. 'Oh, wait. You can have this.' John said walking over to his cell to give him the pen. Syx was surprised. He hadn't expected John to take the gift thing so seriously. The pen was actually a nice pen. It was clicky pen. Syx was sure he could do something with that pen. Plus, he needed more writting materials in his cell. He was running low.

Syx was about to take the pen, when the cop said he had to get going soon. But John's words, hadn't been what stopped Syx. But the fact that Syx could see John's taser in his pocket was in reachable distance, stopped him. Syx looked up to see John was looking down the hall. Oh how much more perfect could this scene get? Syx reached for the pen with one hand and the taser with the other. He grabed them both at the same time, sliding the taser in his sleeving turning away from John to supposively look over the pen. He smirked to himself.

"Thank you, John." Syx said deviously. "Have fun with your reports." He told him cheerfully going to go sit back on his bed. "Maybe I'll be seeing you around more often, huh?" Syx asked in almost a mocking tone. Yep, this cop was diffinately new. He always loved new cops. They were the easiest to scare and trick.

John felt Syx take the pen finally. He sighed with relieve. Syx had paused, making John a bit nervious. He'd never been around jail birds. Usually, if anything, he rode as an assistant in the passager's seat when the other cop was bringing them in. He hadn't presonally arrested any himself. Others were showing him how to do the chases and arrests and car checks, ect. He was learning, but was also a bit scared of having to do this by himself.

John looked back into the cell happy to see that Syx was at least liking the pen. It looked like he was anyway. He was hunched over turned away from John observing it carefully. John hadn't even felt his taser being tooken nor noticed it. He smiled a bit at him still feeling a bit bad that a pen was all he could offer for the guy's birthday. Oh well, he was a criminal after all. John shouldn't be too concerned on it.

"Thank you, John." Syx said. "Have fun with your reports." He told him cheerfully going to go sit back on his bed. "Maybe I'll be seeing you around more often, huh?" John smiled back hoping that wasn't the case but modded politely. He didn't know why he was being so polite to a criminal, he was so submissive to everyone. He really needed to get that fixed. "Of coruse. And happy birthday." John told him before turning to go figure out a way out of this jail.
